Pre-Authorization Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pre-Authorization Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and review medical policies and verify patient insurance eligibility
• Initiate prior authorizations and manage correspondence with clients and health plans
• Document activities related to prior authorization and provide status updates

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience with insurance claims, pre-authorization, and medical benefits required
• Previous RCM experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
