Principal Incident Responder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Incident Responder to enhance incident response capabilities and conduct forensic investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead incident response engagements, determining root causes and remediation actions
• Analyze threat data to identify security incidents for escalation
• Generate executive-level reports summarizing incidents and response actions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years in Cyber Defense with a focus on Incident Response and Digital Forensics
• Expert knowledge of malware analysis techniques and cyber investigations across various operating systems
• Experience with industry-standard security tools and frameworks
• Ability to work independently and provide on-call support during nontraditional hours
