Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe System Programmer to support their CICS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall support for all CICS environments, including installation, modification, analysis, and troubleshooting
• Lead the installation of new CICS versions and apply updates from IBM as required
• Mentor teammates and collaborate with support personnel for incident resolution and project support

Required Qualifications and Education

• Demonstrated ability to install, configure, and support multiple CICS regions and environments
• 8+ years of experience in a related job
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience
• Experience with mainframe JCL, TSO, ISPF, SDSF, and SMF
• Ability to provide after-hours support in an on-call rotation
