Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to internal and external PRA activities in coordination with design and safety analysis teams
- Ensure PRA compliance with regulatory standards including NEI 18-04 and ASME/ANS
- Develop event/fault trees, in-vessel transport models, and radiological release categories
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in nuclear, mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering, or similar
- 15+ years of experience in Probabilistic Risk Assessment
- Knowledge of External Events PRA preferred
- Familiar with ASME/ANS Non-Light Water PRA standard
- Proficiency in PRA software, such as CAFTA and FRANX; experience with GOTHIC, MELCOR, RADTRAD is a plus
