Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer with extensive experience in risk assessment for reactor design.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to PRA work in coordination with plant design and safety analysis
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards for reactor design
- Develop fault trees and event trees, and perform focused PRA analysis to support trade studies
Required Qualifications and Skills
- B.S. or M.S. in nuclear, mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering (or similar)
- Fifteen years or more of experience in Probabilistic Risk Assessment
- Knowledge of PRA principles and familiarity with ASME/ANS Non-Light Water PRA standard
- Experience with PRA software, particularly CAFTA and FRANX
- Broad understanding of various engineering disciplines related to Nuclear Power Plant design
