Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Software Tester to lead quality assurance and testing efforts on a federal program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans and test cases for applications
- Perform manual and automated testing to validate functional, performance, regression, and security requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated experience leading testing efforts in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe environments
- Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle, test case management, and defect tracking
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms
