Privacy Associate II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Associate II to perform privacy compliance activities and manage investigations related to information handling.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate enterprise initiatives for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Identify and mitigate potential privacy risks associated with information handling
• Conduct privacy compliance training and manage investigations of privacy-related issues

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum of five years of compliance experience in a health care environment or health insurance industry
• Minimum of three years of experience in a privacy compliance role
• Preferred certification as a privacy professional from organizations such as IAPP or HCCA
• In-depth knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security rules and other relevant privacy laws
