Product Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal advisor to product and engineering teams on new features and services
• Provide guidance on product-related issues including privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance
• Draft and maintain user-facing legal documents and review product-related public communications

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience, including at least 3 years at a reputable law firm focused on technology or privacy
• Strong experience drafting Terms of Use, Privacy Notices, and other legal content
• Deep understanding of U.S. and international data privacy laws and digital product regulations
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
