Profee Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Profee Coding Specialist who will be responsible for coding Profee Hospitalist cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coding services and support for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and calculate ProFee E/M levels using company algorithms
• Participate in training and maintain compliance with ethical coding standards and internal policies

Required Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of on-the-job coding experience is required
• Proficiency in EMR and billing systems, along with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to maintain a productivity level and accuracy rate of 95% or higher
• Must have reliable internet and current coding materials for effective performance
