Job Summary
A company is looking for a Provider Specialist, hybrid position with two days remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries from physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers regarding operational concerns and service requests
- Act as the primary contact for assigned providers, facilitating resolution of service issues and ensuring effective communication
- Validate and update provider demographic and practice changes in relevant systems accurately and timely
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- 2 years' experience in a customer service role within a healthcare services organization
- Proficiency with desktop computer applications, including Microsoft Office and mainframe systems (QNXT/eVips)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with ICD and CPT coding
- Experience in managing and prioritizing multiple tasks effectively
