Job Summary
A company is looking for a Quantum Architect to design and develop fault-tolerance methods for quantum computing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new fault-tolerance methods for FBQC using linear optical primitives
- Develop and simulate decoding methods and model the origin and propagation of errors
- Simulate and benchmark different protocols
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Physics, Math, or Computer Science; PhD preferred with a focus on quantum information theory or quantum computation
- 2+ years of relevant academic or industry research experience in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance
- Knowledge of quantum information and familiarity with quantum networks, quantum graph states, and error modelling
- Experience working with decoders for quantum error correction and quantum LDPC codes is desirable
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ and use of collaborative software development tools
