Residential VDC Standards Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Residential VDC Standards Specialist to manage and standardize 3D modeling guidelines in the residential construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform and manage 3D modeling guidelines for residential industry digital design standards
• Oversee the adoption of innovative workflows within Revit and ensure model integration into the 3D workflow
• Develop training materials and maintain a curated selection of prebuilt models for internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the residential design and construction industry, preferably as a BIM or VDC Manager or Coordinator
• Proficiency with Autodesk's AEC Collection, including Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience in developing models for construction drawings from schematic to construction document phases
• Familiarity with BIM standards management across an organization for residential design and construction
• Understanding of the processes involved in the design and construction of single-family dwellings
