A company is looking for a Refund Dispute Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming payer refund requests and determine the appropriateness of refunds or disputes
- Verify billing accuracy for dispensed medications and services according to payer contracts
- Create and submit payer dispute letters with supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college is a plus
- 1-2 years of experience in revenue cycle management with knowledge of various reimbursement types
- Familiarity with automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ and Waystar is a plus
- Understanding of basic accounting practices and medical coding
- Solid Microsoft Office skills with typing proficiency of 40+ WPM
