Job Summary
A company is looking for a Telephonic Medical Case Manager in a workers' compensation environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic outreach for assessment and follow-up case communication and coordination
- Conduct and document initial assessments and maintain regular contact with all parties involved
- Coordinate communication with providers, claimants, and employers to facilitate timely return-to-work dates
Required Qualifications and Education
- High School Diploma or GED required; higher education in Nursing or related field preferred
- Current, unrestricted RN, LPN, or CCM license required
- Three or more years of diverse clinical experience in acute care
- Two or more years of medical case management or managed care experience preferred
- Knowledge of utilization management and quality improvement processes
