Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls regarding benefits from members, providers, and employer groups, explaining policies and procedures
- Resolve member or provider concerns, documenting information on the billing system and escalating complaints as necessary
- Maintain knowledge of Member Services policies and perform other work-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or college degree
- At least 1 year of face-to-face customer service experience; call center experience preferred
- Knowledge of and prior experience in the Dental, Medical, or Managed Care industry is preferred
- Must successfully complete a customer service assessment and typing test
- Successful completion of a background check is required for this position
