Job Summary
A company is looking for a RCM Customer Service Representative - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer service calls and make outbound follow-up calls regarding patient accounting questions
- Assist callers with their inquiries, aiming for first call resolution, and escalate issues as necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school education or equivalent
- 1 - 2 years of experience in an inbound call center or customer service environment
- Experience or knowledge of hospital patient account billing and third-party reimbursements is a plus
- Ability to interpret and apply reimbursement aspects of managed healthcare contracts
- Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods
