Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Submit insurance claims accurately and timely, and respond to denials and re-bills
• Conduct follow-up and collections on insurance claims, resolving discrepancies with internal and external departments
• Analyze patient invoices and accounts, maintaining work queues and responding to third-party correspondence

Required Qualifications

• High School Degree
• Two years of experience in hospital or physician insurance-related activities (Authorization, Billing, Follow-Up, Call-Center, or Collections)
• Basic understanding of health insurance plans, policies, and procedures
• Experience with posting payments and resolving insurance denials
• Ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
