Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist; Collections and Special Projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage outstanding claim balances and patient accounts with complex issues across various payers
• Conduct root cause analysis on unpaid and underpaid insurance claims and perform necessary remediation actions
• Build strategic business relationships with internal and external partners to ensure timely claim resolution

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with proof of documentation
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
• At least 2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, focusing on collections
• Ability to confidently place phone calls to payers, clinics, and patients
• Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree and experience with insurance authorizations and coordination of benefits
