RHEL System Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a RHEL System Engineer to lead in-place upgrades, automated patching, and network configuration in a VMware-based Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute in-place upgrades across RHEL systems (6, 7, 8) hosted on VMware
• Build and run Ansible playbooks for patching, configuration, and upgrade tasks
• Map and manage IP addresses, network interfaces, and system routing

Required Qualifications

• 5 years hands-on RHEL administration with versions 6 through 8
• 3 years of BASH/ksh/sh shell scripting experience
• 3 years of RHEL administration on VMware virtualization
• 3 years experience with major RHEL release upgrades
• Demonstrated understanding of IP networking fundamentals
