Runtime Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Runtime Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage experience with compiler and linker development to improve the toolchain and implement compiler backends and linker changes
• Improve and maintain JIT compilers and virtual machines with a focus on security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to complex architectural problems

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with compilers and preferably runtimes
• Proficient in advanced C++ or Rust development
• Experience with LLVM or cranelift internals and back-end specifics
• Experience with JIT compilers, virtual machines, and their security implications
• Hands-off work attitude requiring minimal supervision; proactive and self-motivated
