Safety Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Safety to lead safety strategy and execution across its in-home care workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement proactive workplace safety initiatives to improve safety outcomes for Care Professionals and clients
• Oversee workers' compensation strategy and incident management, including investigations and corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct safety audits and assessments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of relevant experience in safety leadership, with at least 3 years in a distributed workforce or field-based service model
• Experience managing workers' compensation programs end-to-end, including claims and provider relationships
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to lead safety initiatives across product, clinical, and operational teams
