Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, test, implement, and configure security tools and services for cloud workloads, networks, and endpoints
• Serve as a subject matter expert on security engineering topics, processes, and tools
• Collaborate with IT and Product teams to implement cohesive security solutions across diverse environments

Required Qualifications

• MS/BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and securing solutions in hybrid cloud enterprise and SaaS environments
• Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, and/or GCP and their security offerings
• Experience with Azure Arc, Azure Monitoring Agent, Microsoft Defender, and Prisma Cloud
• Ability to automate tasks using Powershell, Python, Bash, or Go
