Senior Algorithm Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Algorithm Engineer in the Eastern US (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of numerical algorithms for the CUPO solution
• Collaborate with site and modeling teams to diagnose and resolve algorithm issues
• Write and review MATLAB and Python code to implement new algorithm features and improve quality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or other engineering field
• 4+ years of experience in applied engineering
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment and experience reading, writing, and troubleshooting MATLAB code
• Familiarity with Python and standard numeric packages
• Understanding of optimal-control strategies
