Senior Back-End Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop online game features such as in-game economy, leaderboards, and matchmaking
• Diagnose and fix issues in live game services
• Deploy multiple backend services and participate in a weekly on-call rotation for emergency service notifications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of developing/supporting online services, with at least 2 years in an industry role
• Demonstrable command of C# or a similar language
• Experience with cloud providers, particularly Azure
• Experience with CI/CD and working on a live service with a regular release cadence
• Knowledge of back-end service development for online games
