Senior Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservices from a shared, autopilot-ready template
• Contribute to AI agent deflection logic and own end-to-end features, including infrastructure in AWS and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership in greenfield feature design and analyze helpdesk escalations to improve AI self-service capabilities

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience, with some startup experience
• Deep production experience with cloud-native tools (AWS, Kubernetes)
• Prior hands-on experience building or integrating AI systems
• Experience working in greenfield environments with evolving requirements
• Familiarity with system design for AI-powered automation platforms is a bonus
