Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer, Internal Software.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and lead improvements to data-intensive services and applications written predominantly in Python
• Measure and optimize performance of user-facing workflows across the suite of applications
• Ensure integrity of changing data via schema migrations, testing, and other mechanisms

Required Qualifications

• Advanced working knowledge of Python and its software development lifecycle
• Working knowledge of SQL and RDBMSs
• Experience with system architecture or domain modeling
• Appetite for learning about user workflows and evaluating new approaches to building software
