Senior Director Platform Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform Architect Senior Director responsible for defining and driving the architecture of its platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture for core platform capabilities, ensuring scalability and high performance
• Guide strategy and direction for major projects, aligning with business goals and objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective integration of the platform with other systems and technologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree
• Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline preferred
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years in platform or enterprise architecture
• Proven experience in architecting scalable, distributed systems in cloud-native environments
• Strong understanding of microservices, API design, and infrastructure-as-code practices
