Senior Grid Interconnection Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Lead Grid Interconnection Consultant -- Part Time.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare generator interconnection applications, including compliance verification and PSS/E model development
• Review ISO feasibility and system impact studies to guide ISO Interconnection Customers
• Conduct independent power system studies and advanced grid system studies to evaluate impacts for clients

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Systems Analysis
• 11+ years of power systems engineering experience
• Knowledge of power regions and ISOs/RTOs (e.g., PJM, MISO, NYISO)
• Experience with modeling inverter-based resources and renewable generation using software like PSS/E and PSCAD
• Experience with transmission planning software for load flow modeling and contingency studies
