Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer - z/OS.

Key Responsibilities

• Support installation, testing, and implementation of z/OS operating systems and systems software
• Monitor, tune, and debug systems software while handling incidents and problems
• Collaborate on technical projects and communicate with vendors regarding system configurations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a mainframe environment within a large enterprise or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of z/OS installation and maintenance, including SMP/E
• Working knowledge of TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, and Unix System Services (USS)
• Ability to work well in a team and manage stress during major incidents or emergencies
