Senior Observability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Instrumentation & Observability Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect comprehensive observability solutions for complex distributed systems and establish best practices
• Design sophisticated monitoring systems with advanced alerting logic and create advanced visualization systems
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor junior engineers while collaborating on observability roadmaps

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering
• 4+ years of specialized experience with observability platforms and practices
• Expert-level knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java)
