Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and secure Oracle databases while identifying enhancements or limitations of new software
• Automate system deployments and integrations with best-in-class orchestration and high availability principles
• Perform troubleshooting, tuning, and problem resolution as needed, including backup and recovery of application systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline
• 7+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in software projects or complex health systems
• Previous programming experience using shell script for automation
• Active Security+ certification preferred
• Experience in a federal government agency environment preferred
