Information System Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information System Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain corporate on-premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Monitor systems for performance, security, and capacity, and implement multi-layer security strategies
• Lead project lifecycles for infrastructure security upgrades and collaborate with teams to align projects with IT strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related technical field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered
• Minimum of ten years' experience in a LAN/WAN environment focused on cybersecurity or IT infrastructure
• Current certification in at least one of the following: CISSP, MCITP, CCNA, VMware
• Extensive hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and enterprise-grade infrastructure
• In-depth understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including VPN and virtualization
