Senior Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Senior Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-up activities on accounts to resolve outstanding balances and ensure timely payment
• Research accounts using patient accounting applications and internet resources, and communicate with payors and patients
• Assist in training new or existing staff and participate in special projects as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 2-5 years of experience in medical/hospital insurance-related collections
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Minimum typing requirement of 45 words per minute
• Knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid collections
