Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Principal Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead PRA development efforts supporting reactor design and safety analysis
- Coordinate PRA work with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure PRA aligns with regulatory guidance and develop risk models
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in nuclear, mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering with 5+ years' experience; M.S. with 3+ years; or Ph.D. with 1+ year
- Proficiency in PRA principles and ASME/ANS Non-Light Water PRA standard
- Experience with fault tree/event tree development, preferably using CAFTA
- Familiarity with safety codes such as GOTHIC, MELCOR, or RADTRAD is a plus
- Experience with SFR and/or Molten Salt Reactor safety analysis is highly desirable
