Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Permitting Specialist to manage regulatory permitting and environmental compliance for infrastructure projects in California.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of state and federal permit applications and ensure compliance with environmental laws
• Support the strategic development and acquisition of regulatory permits and approvals
• Manage construction-phase compliance and respond to potential noncompliance events

Required Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in biology, environmental science, or a related field
• Ten years of work-related experience or a combination of education and experience totaling fourteen years if non-degreed
• Experience with major environmental laws including CEQA, NEPA, and the Clean Water Act
• Experience working on large, complex programs and projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
