Network Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer to help architect and scale their proprietary distributed infrastructure platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy fault-tolerant network topologies for the infrastructure
• Write automation software for network provisioning, monitoring, diagnostics, and routing
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize node-to-node connectivity and performance

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience designing and operating IP networks with software development exposure
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Rust for writing systems tools or orchestration logic
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, NAT, and DNS
• Experience with performance debugging, packet tracing, and network observability tools
