Senior Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer to enhance its security posture through the management and implementation of security tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily security operations, including threat detection and vulnerability management
• Configure, implement, and maintain security tools and AWS security services
• Support real-time incident response efforts and collaborate with customer support to resolve security issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Information Security and/or Cybersecurity
• At least 3 years' hands-on experience with AWS security services and tools
• Experience with SOC2 Type II certification and compliance efforts
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and GRC solutions is preferred
