Senior Sensor Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Sensor Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Build robust, fault-tolerant sensor software for various Linux and Windows environments
• Design and write high-quality code in a multi-threaded environment for data integration into the XDR platform
• Improve the performance of existing sensor software and resolve customer-related issues independently

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or Master's/PhD with 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Familiarity with at least two programming languages: Python, C/C++, Shell script, Go, Ruby, or Java
• Knowledge of network protocols such as VXLAN, ICMP, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and HTTP
• Experience in performance tuning on Linux systems
• Experience with Network IDS, IPS, and security monitoring engines is a plus
