Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer II (Remote - US).

Key Responsibilities

• Define architecture and drive implementation changes across multiple backend services
• Deliver complex projects that span multiple domains and teams while advocating for scalable system designs
• Provide mentorship and feedback to improve engineering practices and ensure quality standards are met

Required Qualifications

• Relevant work experience building and evolving production software using Go and Python
• Experience with SaaS and cloud provider primitives, and payment systems like Stripe or Recurly
• Several years of experience with RDBMS such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Comfortable with build-versus-buy tradeoff discussions and working across technical stacks
• Self-directed with a focus on quality outcomes and customer experience
