Job Summary
A company is looking for an Account Executive focused on State, Local, and Education (SLED) sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of data storage solutions to SLED customers within the defined territory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized data storage solutions
- Manage a robust pipeline of sales activity to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in SLED sales with the ability to meet sales targets
- In-depth knowledge of the SLED procurement process, including RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations
- 5+ years of outside sales experience focused on new logo acquisition or business development
- Experience leading complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to assess, plan, and manage a territory for maximum revenue and efficiency
