Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Cloud Data Storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build distributed data systems, including APIs and schemas for durable workflow history
• Drive reliability and performance by owning SLOs and leading incident reviews
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and managing design documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building scalable distributed systems
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts, including multi-threading and concurrency
• Proficient in writing concurrent code in languages such as Go or Java at an advanced level
• Experience in building and operating services on AWS; familiarity with Azure and GCP is a plus
