Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Search APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical vision and execution for consumer-facing search capabilities within the listings marketplace
• Design, develop, and maintain Server-Driven UI (SDUI) APIs using GraphQL
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and technical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of professional software development experience, focusing on backend systems
• Strong proficiency in Elixir or another functional programming language
• Experience designing and implementing GraphQL APIs
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and software engineering best practices
