Key Responsibilities
- Own architecture and scaling decisions for key Phone platform components
- Lead design and execution of initiatives to improve reliability, latency, and throughput across APIs and workflows
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of backend engineering experience with a focus on fault-tolerant systems
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Proven experience optimizing performance and reliability in high-scale platforms
- Strong experience with relational and NoSQL data models
- Familiarity with monitoring and root-cause analysis in production environments
