Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer - Apache Spark.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement new features for the Data Engineering Experience on large-scale distributed systems
• Contribute to Apache Spark and develop features in Scala/Java/Python
• Debug system-level deployment issues and collaborate with team members and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 4-6 years of experience
• Experience leading complex product enhancements
• Strong understanding of at least one programming language: Java, Scala, GoLang, Rust, C++, or Python
• Experience with systems design and development
• Open-minded with a desire to learn and build great products
