Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist II - Primary Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and sequence ICD-10 and/or CPT/HCPCS codes for various patient types
• Abstract clinical data from records to ensure accuracy in diagnoses and procedures
• Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in compliance-related activities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Active RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, COC, CCS-P, or CPC certification
• Two years of relevant coding experience in specified areas
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding guidelines
• Proficient in MS Office applications
