Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Medical Affairs, responsible for the strategic leadership and operational oversight of medical review operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a long-term vision aligned with organizational goals
• Optimize operational efficiency through process improvements and establish key performance indicators
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and conduct quality audits to enhance medical review processes

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Current and unrestricted medical license in the United States
• 7+ years of Health Plan leadership experience in medical review or utilization management
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience
• Proven track record in operational efficiency and quality improvement
