State Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting tasks and provide support to staff accountants in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, review, and post journal entries; approve account reconciliations
• Provide training and supervision to staff accountants; prepare financial statements and reports
• Assist in interpreting financial statements and support audits by providing necessary documentation

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Two to three years of experience as a staff accountant, preferably in a casino finance department
• Knowledge of GAAP and related statutory requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to qualify for licenses and permits as required by regulations
