Stop Loss Underwriting Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Stop Loss Underwriting Consultant, E&I Underwriting - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze health benefit plan characteristics and assess risks related to frequency and severity of losses
• Utilize underwriting criteria to provide rating methodologies and evaluate pricing options and plan design changes
• Prepare financial modeling for reserve and budget calculations, and validate renewals and proposals for accuracy

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare underwriting for various products
• 1+ years of experience with Risk Management
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite
