Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer, Information Resources responsible for implementing and maintaining backup and recovery solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement backup strategies for critical systems and data, ensuring compliance with business requirements
• Deploy and configure backup software and hardware, including Rubrik and IBM Spectrum Protect
• Monitor backup jobs, perform testing and validation, and participate in disaster recovery exercises

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, math, information systems, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in operating systems and systems administration
• Experience with project management phases and methodologies
• Certification in at least one relevant operating system or associated technology
• Experience working with multiple server hosts in a combined environment
