Systems Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Manager to lead system operations and service management for a Medicaid Management Information System program.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for contract compliance and project execution with external vendors
• Manage system activities, proactively identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure successful application deployment
• Oversee service management processes and ensure adherence to service level agreements and key performance indicators

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in systems management or IT operations, preferably in public sector or Medicaid environments
• Hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise systems, ideally MMIS or similar healthcare platforms
• Proven experience with ITIL practices and understanding of service management frameworks; ITIL v4 Certification is preferred
• Strong understanding of system observability and proactive monitoring tools
